Stephen Legault is the Initiative Coordinator for the Crown of the Continent Conservation Initiative. Based in Canmore, Alberta, Stephen is a twenty-year veteran of large landscape conservation efforts in the Crown of the Continent. He was a co-founder of Yellowstone to Yukon, founder and Executive Director of Wildcanada.net and is a former director of The Alberta Wilderness Association, the Bow Valley Naturalists and BC Conservation Voters. He is a writer, photographer, hiker, climber and trail runner. He is the father of two boys.
Regan Nelson leads CCCI’s conservation science program. Based in Bozeman, Montana, Regan is spearheading CCCI’s Climate Impacts Assessment 2.0. Regan has a Masters Degree from the College of Forest Resources at the University of Washington and an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz. She has worked in policy, advocacy and communicators positions for the Natural Resource Defense Council, the Aspen Institute, the Nature Conservancy and Conservation Northwest.
